Wike Says Visit to APC Chairman Yilwatda Was a Gesture of Courtesy, Not Politics
Reports say the FCT Minister met with APC National Chairman to emphasise that he does not practice politics of enmity. After inspecting projects in Abuja he told journalists the visit was personal courtesy, not a political maneuver. He argued that party affiliations should not block basic human association. Wike explained that Yilwatda had made several attempts to meet him at the secretariat. Unable to accommodate him there, he chose to visit him at home so they could talk. He added that his loyalty remains with President Tinubu and his ministerial duties. According to him, the results of his work matter more than political speculation.
