2027 Elections: NDC Prices Presidential Form at ₦60m, Governorship at ₦30m

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced fees for its 2027 primary forms. Presidential hopefuls will pay ₦60 million for both Expression of Interest and Nomination forms combined, while governorship aspirants face a ₦30 million charge. Senatorial candidates must budget ₦3 million for Expression of Interest and ₦5 million for nomination. House of Representatives hopefuls will incur ₦2 million and ₦4 million respectively. State House of Assembly forms are set at ₦1 million and ₦1.5 million. According to a joint statement by the party’s national chairman and secretary, sale of Expression of Interest forms begins May 13 and closes May 18. Screening and interviews run May 19–21, with nomination forms on sale from May 21 to 23 and completed forms due by May 25.
