Woven Threads VII: CRAFTED – Showcasing Africa’s Circular Fashion Future
Driven by tradition and innovation, CRAFTED explores Africa’s heritage of craftsmanship and its role in sustainable fashion. From April 6–12 2026 in Victoria Island, Lagos, designers, innovators, and industry stakeholders will advance circular design, material innovation, and responsible production across the continent’s textile value chains. Highlights include the launch of Project Irapada—Lagos Fashion Week’s first citywide textile waste mapping initiative—and a headline panel in partnership with The Earthshot Prize. Attendees can engage in exhibitions featuring circular designers, digital presentations, and in-depth talks on material intelligence and waste justice. Woven Threads VII offers an immersive showcase of Africa’s finest circular designers, from Pettre Taylor to NYA, alongside fireside chats, panel discussions, and evening presentations. Join us to celebrate heritage-driven sustainability and build the blueprint for fashion’s future in Africa.
