Soludo’s 16.4km Road Cuts Travel Time and Spurs Growth in Orumba South

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo has completed the 16.4km Nawfija–Ajali–Ufuma–Ogbunka Road, unlocking new economic opportunities for communities in Orumba South LGA. The project slashes travel time to Awka from hours to about 15 minutes and eases festive traffic by providing an alternative route. Local farmers and tourism operators can now move produce and visitors more efficiently. Stakeholders say the road will boost palm oil production, stimulate tourism around the Oji Stream area and demonstrate the administration’s commitment to rural infrastructure development.
