Raphael Onyedika Shortlisted for Belgium’s Ebony Shoe Award

Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika has been nominated for the prestigious Ebony Shoe Award, which honours the best African player or player of African descent in the Belgian Pro League. He joins Union Saint-Gilloise forward Promise David on a shortlist that also features Zakaria El Ouahdi, Parfait Guiagon and Adem Zorgane. Onyedika has made 25 league appearances for Club Brugge this season, scoring once. Fellow Nigerian Tolu Arokodare won the award last year, and legends like Daniel Amokachi, Victor Ikpeba and Paul Onuachu are among past Nigerian winners.
