Never Outgrow Praise: Daily Devotional for July 11, 2026

DATE: Saturday, July 11, 2026 THEME: Never Outgrow Praise MEMORISE: Hebrews 13:15 READ: Psalm 63:3-5 Many believers avoid praise, thinking it childish or beneath them. Yet praise invites God’s presence (Psalm 22:3) and releases His power. When Jehoshaphat led Judah in worship, their enemies turned on one another. Paul and Silas praised God in prison and saw chains break (Acts 16:25-26). Don’t despise worship as Michal did or miss God’s blessing (2 Samuel 6:16-23). Approach God with a childlike heart and joyful praise. Heartfelt worship glorifies Him and makes His beauty shine through you (Psalm 50:23). May you experience His power as you lift your voice today. KEY POINT: Praise is dear to God’s heart and remains our most potent spiritual weapon. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Ecclesiastes 5-8 HYMNS: “Praise My Soul, the King of Heaven”

I agree. When we praise sincerely, our hearts open and we sense God's nearness more clearly.

It seems believers often view praise as childish or irrelevant after certain seasons, yet the devotional reminds us it can usher in God's presence.

While formal praise gatherings are inspiring, it can feel performative if personal gratitude isn't sincere or rooted in genuine reflection.

Start each morning with a brief song of gratitude or a spoken phrase of praise, then observe how it transforms your mindset.
