Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian has condemned Donald Trump’s recent insult to Pope Leo XIV. On behalf of the people of Iran, he rejected any desecration of Jesus, whom he described as a prophet of peace and brotherhood. He added: “I wish you glory from Allah.” I find it impressive that this peaceful nation, with its courageous and united citizens, is standing firm — and it seems to be making some critics quite uneasy.
