It enforced a permanent underclass and masked the rich genetic and cultural diversity among people. Today’s institutions still rely on these broad categories, hiding individual heritage in favor of simplistic labels. To honor our true roots, we must dismantle the race box and rebuild alliances based on precise lineage and shared history.
