Many children spend hours on entertainment content yet can’t solve real-life problems or discuss basic financial concepts. Schools often teach outdated curriculums, and parents focus on grades instead of practical skills. To prepare young Nigerians for future opportunities, parents should monitor online consumption, introduce money and business talk early, teach practical skills like problem-solving and communication, encourage curiosity, and reward productivity over rote learning. Only then can we fill those empty seats.
