Iran Rejects Ceasefire, Demands End to Conflict and Compensation

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has ruled out any ceasefire or formal negotiation with the opposing side. He insists that only an end to the war will satisfy Tehran and demands guarantees against future aggression. Araghchi also calls for full compensation for damages inflicted on Iran and its people. He rejects external deadlines and warns that trust with the United States is currently at zero. The exchange of messages continues, he says, but it does not constitute genuine negotiations.
