Tinubu Unveils New Science Complex, Hostels and Research Facilities at Four Institutions
President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated major education infrastructure projects at four tertiary institutions across Nasarawa, Kaduna, Jigawa and Bauchi States. These new facilities were funded by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund and mark the third anniversary of the current administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda. At Nasarawa State College of Education, Akwanga, a modern School of Science Complex now offers reading halls, electronic libraries and dedicated offices for staff and researchers. The Nigerian Defence Academy’s Afaka Campus in Kaduna received a remodeled Senate Building and a new Biodiversity and Conservation Centre to enhance governance and environmental studies. Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic in Kazaure, Jigawa State, now has a new classroom complex to address overcrowding. Sa’adu Zungur University’s Gadau Campus in Bauchi State gained a 600-bed student hostel completed under the latest TETFund intervention. During the commissioning, the President said investing in teacher training, technical skills and military education will drive long-term national development and equip graduates to meet Nigeria’s evolving needs.
