Barcelona Reportedly Renew Push to Sign Julián Álvarez from Atlético Madrid

Barcelona are reportedly planning fresh talks as they explore a move for Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez. Sporting director Deco and scouting chief João Amaral are said to have travelled to Madrid for discussions involving the Argentine forward's representative. Reports say the meeting is not expected to produce an immediate breakthrough. Atlético Madrid are reportedly unwilling to sell Álvarez to a direct La Liga rival and have rejected a €100 million offer from Barcelona. Barcelona are also said to be considering Darwin Núñez, Dušan Vlahović and Fisnik Asllani as alternative attacking options if a deal for Álvarez cannot be reached.
