My Waiting Season: Enduring Disappointment and Disrespect from Family
Recently, my mother was upset that I didn’t call after her trip home. I admit I should have reached out. Yet her reaction felt stronger than the situation warranted. My wife, too, has said things that made me feel disrespected and taken for granted. It’s painful when those closest to you underestimate your worth during a season of waiting. This ‘waiting season’ tests a man’s faith and resilience. Even when others doubt his potential, he must trust God’s timing and remain steadfast. By God’s grace, I will spend time on the mountain next month to seek guidance and renew my strength. Enough is enough. It’s time for a deeper encounter with God.
