Ororuwo Commissions Pa Simon Ajeigbe Memorial Bus Stop in Tribute to Late Patriot
It was a day of honour as the Brave Women Progressive Association unveiled the Pa Simon Adebayo Ajeigbe Memorial Bus Stop in Ororuwo. Traditional rulers, government officials, community leaders and residents gathered to celebrate the legacy of Pa Ajeigbe, a former State Patron whose generosity and vision shaped the community. Addressing the crowd, Evangelist Matilda Farinde said the project, launched in May, will preserve his commitment to unity and service. She noted his role in enlisting Dr. Deji Adeleke as the association’s South-West Patron and urged residents to protect the facility as a living tribute to his ideals. Speeches from the Osun State Commissioner for Government House Affairs, members of the Ajeigbe family and local chiefs highlighted Pa Ajeigbe’s efforts to create jobs and drive local development. His dedication to Ororuwo remains an inspiration for future generations to embrace selfless service.
