CYMS DG Chief Obinna Nwaka Honoured at Young Women in Governance Forum
On Tuesday 19 May 2026, the CYMS team led by Director General Chief Obinna Nwaka attended the Young Women in Governance and Peace Building Forum at the NAF Conference Centre Abuja. The conference, themed “Young Women Leading Change: Governance, Inclusion and Peace,” drew dignitaries from across Africa and beyond. Chief Nwaka served as guest speaker and was presented with an award in recognition of his support. He thanked the organisers and Ambassador Idris Asmawu Omeiza, dedicating the honour to CYMS female members and volunteers. The CYMS delegation included Hon. Kelechi Ugwumba (Director of Contacts and Mobilisation), Emmanuel Adimma, Favour Nwankwo, Ada, Clever Waka, Jennifer and Princess Mimi Peters.
