Gbajabiamila: Tinubu Nearly Fired Me for Backing Desmond Elliot

Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, revealed he almost lost his job during the Lagos State Assembly crisis. He explained that President Tinubu accused him of supporting Desmond Elliot’s move to remove Speaker Mudashiru Obasa. Some assembly members impeached Obasa, but Tinubu reversed their decision. Gbajabiamila said he warned Elliot to stay out of the plot, but that advice was ignored.
