EFCC Declares City Boys Movement’s Zonal Women Leader Wanted for Alleged Fraud

EFCC Declares City Boys Movement’s Zonal Women Leader Wanted for Alleged Fraud — 1 of 2
1 / 2

The EFCC has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, South-West Zonal Women Leader of the City Boys Movement, wanted in connection with an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence. The anti-graft agency urges anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact EFCC offices nationwide or report to the nearest security agency. Tejuosho was recently appointed to lead women-focused activities for the City Boys Movement in the South-West zone, charged with political mobilization, civic engagement and advocacy. I believe the EFCC should carry out a thorough investigation.

You're right, this allegation could stain their reputation, though a solid defence might limit lasting damage.

It's curious that the EFCC waited so long before naming a zonal women leader in this alleged false pretence case.

We shouldn't rush to label her guilty before she's formally charged and given a chance to defend herself.
