Mukhtar Yero won the APC primary for Kaduna North with 6,060 votes, defeating Muhammad Mu’azu Mukaddas (1,044 votes) and Yusuf Bala Ikara (372 votes). In Kaduna South, incumbent Senator Sunday Katung retained his ticket after polling 7,453 votes, ahead of Danjuma Tella Laah’s 1,370 votes and Michael Auta’s 878 votes in Jema’a LGA. Shehu Sani secured the Kaduna Central nomination with 9,105 votes, beating former Assembly Speaker Yusuf Zailani, who scored 1,021 votes. After the exercise, Yero praised members for the peaceful primary, urged APC unity ahead of 2027, and pledged quality representation if elected.
