Osun Governor Bans NURTW Levies, Halts Union Activities in State Parks

The Osun State Government has ordered an immediate ban on all activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in motor parks across the state. Governor Ademola Adeleke announced the directive after a State Security Council meeting, charging security agencies to enforce the embargo and stop the collection of levies in parks. A statement from the Commissioner for Information warned that anyone operating under the union’s name in these parks will be arrested for disturbing public peace and may face prosecution.
