ADC Names Senator Sabo Nakudu as Jigawa Governorship Primary Winner
The African Democratic Congress has announced the results of its Jigawa State governorship primary. Retired DIG Zaki Ahmed, chair of the state electoral committee, declared Senator Sabo Muhammad Nakudu the winner after all results were collated. Nakudu polled 35,939 votes, while Hon. Bashir Adamu Jumbo scored 19,537. Initial delays in reporting from councils such as Auyo, Roni and Kazaure meant results from eight areas were pending. Once those figures arrived, the committee confirmed Nakudu’s victory.
