Fernandez to Play Key Role for Super Eagles, Says Oshaniwa
Former Nigeria international Juwon Oshaniwa believes Emmanuel Fernandez will be vital for the Super Eagles. Fernandez impressed during recent friendlies against Iran and Jordan, and he scored his first goal in Nigeria’s 2-2 draw with Jordan. In an interview with a Scottish publication, Oshaniwa praised the defender’s development in Scottish football. He said the rigour of the league has prepared Fernandez for the demands of international competition.
