Party Feuds vs. Projects: Is Senator Daniel Letting Ogun East Down?
Since 2023, Senator Gbenga Daniel has been mired in APC suspensions and public disputes. Yet Ogun East still awaits the federal roads, institutions and investments it needs to thrive. As a senator, he should push for major road links between Ijebu-Ode, Sagamu and the Lekki corridor. He should also attract universities, training centres and federal agricultural or industrial hubs. Instead, his headlines focus on party survival rather than district progress. Meanwhile, Governor Dapo Abiodun has delivered tangible results in Ogun State. Pensioners are finally paid. Roads once abandoned are rebuilt. The Gateway International Airport is moving forward. More families now access healthcare through the state’s insurance scheme. If the same drive were applied in the Senate, Ogun East could see real transformation. It’s not about winning party battles, but delivering results. Ogun East deserves no less.
