Tinubu Deploys Four Permanent Secretaries in Civil Service Shake-Up
President Bola Tinubu has approved the redeployment of four federal permanent secretaries to strengthen governance and boost public service delivery. This move aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda, aiming to improve efficiency, deepen inter-ministerial collaboration and ensure effective policy implementation. The officials were selected through a competitive process and bring extensive experience to their new roles. Bekearedebo Warrens joins the Political and Economic Affairs Office in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. Dr. Kamil Shoretire moves to the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment. Nkiruka Jones-Nebo will serve in the Career Management Office under the Head of the Civil Service, while Sani Aminu takes up duties in the Special Services Office at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. The Head of the Civil Service congratulated the appointees and urged them to demonstrate professionalism, accountability and result-driven leadership. The shake-up underscores the administration’s push to reposition the civil service as a critical driver of national development.
