Lagos Man Reportedly Declines Elders’ Invitation Over Family Dispute

A Lagos man is reportedly facing a family and community dispute after a relative alleged that she witnessed him in a private encounter with another adult in his matrimonial home. According to the report, the relative informed her mother, who later notified the man’s wife. Community elders were subsequently said to have asked him to appear and respond to the allegations, but he reportedly did not honour the invitation. The report also refers to a separate police investigation linked to disturbances and property damage during the 2020 #EndSARS protests in the Ebute Metta area. The allegations and claims of police involvement have not been independently verified.
