The probe began after the 90-year-old actress reported to Swiss officials that her long-time financial adviser had defrauded her of 18 million Swiss francs over eight years. “I was deliberately chosen as a victim,” Andress said. “They lied to me shamelessly and exploited my goodwill.” Investigators say the stolen funds were funneled through foreign companies and complex transactions to conceal their origin. The trail led to 11 real estate properties and 14 vineyard and olive grove plots in Tuscany. Officials have not yet announced any arrests.
