Obi’s ADC Exit ‘No Loss’, He’s ‘Having Fun’ in NDC – Phrank Shaibu

Obi’s ADC Exit ‘No Loss’, He’s ‘Having Fun’ in NDC – Phrank Shaibu

The Special Assistant on Public Communication to ADC’s presidential candidate says Peter Obi’s departure from ADC was never a setback for the party. Speaking on Trust TV, he argued that Obi has simply found a comfortable space in the NDC and is “having fun” there. He also joked that he’s only heard from their so-called “Supreme Leader” and knows little about other officials. This comment comes after Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso left ADC for NDC, citing internal disputes and legal challenges.

Do you think Obi's move to NDC really changes his political leverage, or is it just media spin to keep him relevant?

Absolutely, it feels more like a headline grab than a genuine shift in his political game.

Dem say Obi dey enjoy NDC, but this look more like strategic maneuver than pure fun. Politics often disguises real motives.

I'm not convinced Obi needed ADC for visibility; his popularity seems independent of any party label at this stage.

Rather than debate Obi's 'fun,' maybe stakeholders should focus on policy alignment and concrete campaign strategies moving forward.
