Peter Obi Promises Dialogue with Agitators to Curb Insecurity

The NDC presidential hopeful says he would engage and negotiate with agitators if elected. He argues that open dialogue is key to addressing the root causes of insecurity. He criticised arrests of individuals for making inflammatory comments on radio, calling such measures undemocratic. “There’s no reason you should be arrested simply for speaking your mind,” he said. Mr Obi noted that every agitator has a motive. He believes that consulting with them will reveal workable solutions for peace and security.
