Lagos Government Rescues Starving Toddler Abandoned Over Witchcraft Accusations

A viral video revealed a three-year-old girl in Ipaja left to fend for herself in a single diaper, appearing malnourished and drinking from a dirty container. Neighbours say her mother accused her of witchcraft and abandoned her to die. Following the outcry, the Lagos State Government, through its Commissioner for Youth and Social Development and the Governor’s media aide, traced the family’s location.
