When Tomboys Catch Your Eye
I live close to two tomboys who always wear men’s clothes. You might mistake them for guys if not for their features. They’re probably recent graduates hanging around campus. Whenever I pass by, they often stare or say something when I greet them. Yesterday, one of them locked eyes with me on the road. Her stare caught me off guard, so I just said “good morning” and walked on. They usually dress in black, and I can’t help but wonder if they’re in a cult or just being mysterious. I find it strange—my funny encounters are usually with guys, not girls.
