Ifedayo Youths Urge Adeleke to Reject Imposition of Hon. Kashope Abolarin

Tensions are rising in Ifedayo local government after the Ifedayo Youth Vanguard petitioned Governor Adeleke over plans to impose Hon. Kashope Abolarin as the state assembly candidate. Coordinator Olusegun Adebisi warned that Abolarin’s leadership has deepened divisions and disconnected him from grassroots supporters. The group says his claims of facilitating road projects in Oke-Ila and Ora-Igbomina are misleading and risk undermining public trust. They cautioned that imposing a candidate without broad acceptance could provoke backlash and harm the party’s chances in future elections. The youths are calling for a transparent, inclusive selection process that reflects the will of the people.
