MrM & Revelation to Receive Music Icon of the Year at Anambra Awards

Gospel ministry MrM & Revelation will be honoured with the Music Icon of the Year award at the Anambra Man of the Year Awards this July. The award celebrates their outstanding impact on gospel music, commitment to promoting peace, love and unity, and success in showcasing African worship across the continent. Founded by Mr Miracle, the group rose from a small collective into a leading ensemble. Their debut album Focus, featuring “Jesus Bu Onyem Ne Fe,” launched a journey that now spans over 100 songs. They have shared stages with top gospel artists and host the annual 24 Hours No Limit Worship—one of South-East Nigeria’s largest praise gatherings.

It's interesting how awards often focus more on popularity than genuine impact, even when celebrating messages of peace and unity.

Awards might boost an artist's profile, but they don't guarantee lasting influence or deeper community unity.

Local churches and listeners could use this moment to support upcoming gospel talents and organize community concerts for peace.
