This morning, Facebook users in the UK encountered an “Account Temporarily Unavailable” message when trying to log in on desktop. The mobile app still shows posts, but the web version is reporting a site issue affecting many users. Downdetector data revealed a spike in “Facebook down” reports just before 9am, with 32% citing site errors, 26% login failures, and 22% feed problems. Users also took to X with comments such as “Uh oh, #FacebookDown” and “Nooooo! Facebook is down?”
