Living by Faith, Not by Sight: Rising Above Circumstances

Living by Faith, Not by Sight: Rising Above Circumstances

Every Christian faces the choice to trust what they see or embrace God’s promises. Our instincts push us to rely on visible evidence. Favorable circumstances bring hope, while challenges can stir fear and doubt. Scripture reminds us that the Christian life isn’t controlled by appearances. “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, KJV) This verse invites us to base decisions and actions on God’s Word rather than on temporary situations. Walking by faith means stepping forward in trust, even when the path isn’t clear. It calls us to believe in God’s purpose and remain steadfast, confident that His promises will be fulfilled.
