APC Aspirant Ayinla Decries Unjust Omission From Ikeja House Primary
Mr Olalekan Ayinla has raised concerns after his name was left off the final list of cleared aspirants for the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives primary in Ikeja Federal Constituency. He says he purchased and submitted his nomination form, attended the screening in Abuja, and received no notice of disqualification. He only learned hours before the exercise that his name was missing, while other aspirants were invited to briefing and peace pact signings. Ayinla insists proper procedure requires disqualification notices be issued within six days of screening. He is calling on President Bola Tinubu, the APC national and state chairmen, and the Lagos state governor to investigate and correct what he describes as an administrative oversight. He urges party leaders to ensure a free, fair and transparent primary, arguing that every aspirant deserves equal opportunity without suppression or intimidation.
