APC Stakeholders Demand Tinubu’s Intervention in Ekiti North II Primaries

A coalition of APC stakeholders and the Ekiti Network of Asiwaju Youths says polls did not take place in several wards across Ekiti North II, including Usi, Ifaki 1 & 2, Ilogbo, Otun 1 & 2, Igogo 1 and all wards in Ilejemeje LGA. They allege that where genuine results showed Hon. Akinlayo Davidson Kolawole as the winner, returning officers ignored them and declared another candidate in Ado Ekiti. The group warns this practice goes against the party’s principles and urges President Bola Tinubu and national APC leaders to step in before these irregularities harm the party’s chances in the general elections.

It's odd that polls didn't occur in every ward yet genuine results allegedly existed where votes did happen.

I'm not convinced Tinubu's intervention would address underlying organizational issues across Ekiti North II primaries.

A transparent, third-party monitoring team in those affected wards could help rebuild faith before the final results are announced.
