Troops Nab Five Suspected Kidnappers, Seize AK-47s in Magumeri, Borno

Nigerian troops of Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI have arrested five men linked to a kidnapping ring in Magumeri Local Government Area of Borno State. They recovered two AK-47 rifles, magazines and ammunition during the raid, disrupting the syndicate’s ability to carry out further attacks. Preliminary investigations show the suspects were involved in terrorizing civilians across parts of Borno. They are now in custody and assisting security agencies to dismantle the network. The Army says this operation highlights its ongoing commitment to protecting lives and ensuring lasting peace and stability in the region.
