The Center for Climate-Smart Agriculture at Cosmopolitan University Abuja has partnered with Adamawa State College of Education, Hong. They will host a fully funded Professional Certificate Programme in Climate-Smart Agriculture. The interactive session brought together principal officers, deans, directors and students from Agricultural, Business and Computer Science Education. Attendees learned about the selection process and programme benefits. Provost Benson Yusuf Baha highlighted the challenges of climate change, soil degradation and food insecurity. He explained how data analytics, precision farming and artificial intelligence can boost yields and conserve resources. He called for a modern agricultural revolution. Programme Coordinator Dr Jeremiah Samaila noted that Adamawa College is the only North-East institution chosen for this initiative. He urged participants to take full advantage of the hands-on training and join the new center.
