Cardi B on Selling Out MSG, Flying Over Fans and Launching Grow-Good Beauty — 1 of 4
1 / 4

Cardi B joined Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show to celebrate her sold-out Madison Square Garden shows and chat about her first headlining arena tour. She admitted feeling overwhelmed by friends and family all wanting tickets for the back-to-back nights in her hometown. On her Little Miss Drama Tour, Cardi surprised fans by flying above the crowd despite her fear of heights. She said going over the top is part of giving her audience a true party experience. Reflecting on the ten-year anniversary of “Bodak Yellow,” Cardi joked that she’d tell her younger self to stop arguing on Twitter. While she hasn’t fully left the platform, she has cut back on the spats. She also introduced Grow-Good Beauty, her new haircare line inspired by her Dominican heritage and developed over three years in partnership with a leading fashion retailer.

I'm not convinced flying over fans adds much to a concert experience when numerous artists already use dramatic stage tricks these days.

She could consider a ticket lottery system for family and friends to balance fairness and reduce the stress of personal requests during tour planning.
