Ondo Police Remand Two Kidnap Kingpins After Identification by Nine Victims
The Ondo State Police Command has arraigned two suspects, Bello Denge (30) and Umar Isah (25), on charges of kidnapping and other violent crimes. Nine victims formally identified them during an identification parade at the Command Headquarters. Investigations revealed the syndicate targeted farmers working in remote communities across Iluabo, Eleyowo, Iju-Itaogbolu, and Pelebe. Their activities had spread fear and disrupted socio-economic life in these areas. On April 30, 2026, the suspects were charged in court and remanded at the Nigeria Correctional Service, Olokuta. The police emphasized that due process is key to ensuring justice and deterring future criminal acts.
