Davido Inducted into Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame 2026 Class
Davido has been named a 2026 inductee into the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame in Atlanta. He joins a class of legends including Ludacris, Bishop Paul S. Morton and former Mayor Maynard Jackson. This honour follows Fela Kuti’s earlier induction and highlights Afrobeats’ growing impact on global Black culture. The Walk of Fame was launched by the Black American Music Association and the Georgia Entertainment Caucus in 2021. Its bronze and gold plaques line Atlanta’s Historic Westside near Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Past inductees include Michael Jackson, Beyoncé and Stevie Wonder. Davido, American-born and Nigerian-raised, has amassed billions of streams and video views. His Timeless album became the first by an African artist to top the iTunes Album Chart in 2023. His latest project, 5IVE, also earned him a Grammy nomination.
