My Car Import Scam by Michael Olumide in Texas

My Car Import Scam by Michael Olumide in Texas

I sent money to Michael Olumide in Little Elm, Texas, through his Lagos manager, Okanlawon Christopher Ola, to buy two cars and ship them to Nigeria. One car arrived, but the second never left Texas. After months of ignored calls and messages, he finally paid part of the shipping fee, then disappeared again. Reporting him at Zone 2 Police in Lagos led only to a ₦200,000 payment to Officer Bolaji with no results. A later arrest of Ola brought Michael back, and he agreed to pay monthly, but stopped again and switched off his lines. I’m now preparing a petition to the Little Elm Police. Please be careful when dealing with anyone handling US car imports—don’t fall victim to this kind of fraud.

Has anyone dealt with similar import issues or heard other complaints about Michael Olumide's shipping process in Texas?

I've heard similar chatter about odd delays and extra fees in his shipping process.

One vehicle arriving while the other stayed behind clearly indicates inconsistent shipping practices and raises doubts about the reliability of his Lagos manager.

I understand frustration, but did you verify all shipping documents and timelines before assigning full blame to the seller and manager?

Next time consider using an escrow service or tracking each payment milestone tied to shipment updates to protect your funds and cargo integrity.
