Straits of Passage: International Laws and Nigeria’s Education Gap
I often stress that Nigeria’s education standards need urgent improvement. Our curiosity for knowledge is at its lowest ebb. International waterways like the Bosporus in Turkey and the Singapore Strait remain open to all under global law. No nation negotiates passage through them. Nigeria should adopt the same principle at home. One mistake does not justify another. We must not curb our collective curiosity or stall our progress.
