June 19 Devotional: God, Our Source of Every Seed

In today’s devotional, we reflect on 2 Corinthians 9:10 and Deuteronomy 8:18. We learn that every gift, opportunity, and resource comes from God. Recognizing Him as our provider removes pride and envy. We often compare our progress with others. This comparison blinds us to God’s unique plan. Our role is to steward faithfully what God gives, trusting that every seed sown in obedience will bear fruit in His timing. When we trust God as our source, our hearts find peace. We stop striving in jealousy and start living in gratitude. As we remain diligent and faithful, God multiplies the seeds of our righteousness and makes our lives testimonies of His goodness. Reflection Questions: • Do I truly see God as the source of everything I have? • Am I comparing my journey with others instead of trusting His timing? • How faithfully am I using the opportunities God has given me? Prayer: Father, thank you for being my supplier. Help me trust you fully and remove envy and insecurity. Teach me to steward every seed and opportunity. May my life bear abundant fruit to your glory. Amen. Declaration: I declare that God is my provider. I will not live in comparison. Every seed He places in my life will grow in due season. I walk in gratitude, faithfulness, and divine increase. Amen.

You mention removing envy by recognizing God as provider, but comparing can also motivate healthy ambition rather than only breeding resentment.

Try listing daily blessings alongside personal goals to remind yourself both God's gifts and your own hard work matter.
