Depart From Sin and Walk in God’s Purpose

A life surrendered to God must also turn away from sin. Holiness protects our peace, testimony and purpose, while hidden compromise can create room for destruction. Scripture says: “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity” (2 Timothy 2:19). The lives of Gehazi, Saul, David and Solomon show how greed, disobedience and a drifting heart can lead to painful consequences. God’s grace is greater than every failure. Through sincere repentance, we can receive forgiveness, cleansing and restoration. Take every area of compromise to God and ask for strength to live in obedience and holiness. Prayer: Father, search my heart, cleanse me from every form of sin, and give me the grace to walk in righteousness through Jesus Christ. Amen.
