Lens University Students Claim Third Place at NLA Kwara State Inter-School Competition
200-level Library and Information Science students from Lens University Ilemona secured the second runner-up spot at the Nigerian Library Association Kwara State Chapter inter-school contest in Ilorin. Five institutions, including Kwara State University, Malete and Federal Polytechnic Offa, competed in areas such as reference services, knowledge organization, research methodology and intellectual property. Association leaders praised the students’ dedication and lauded Lens University’s proprietor and librarian for their support. The team, led by Tomiwa Ayomide, included Olanrewaju Success, Dauda Ahmad, Adeniji Emmanuel, Adebayo Deborah and Salako Oluwatobi. Their performance underscored the institution’s quality training and academic values, earning recognition for both the department and the university.
