Sara-Igbe Predicts Fubara’s Landslide Over Any Wike-Backed Candidate

During a Symfoni TV interview on May 13, 2026, High Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe assessed Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s standing ahead of the 2027 Rivers governorship race. Sara-Igbe argued that Fubara’s support is organic and deep-rooted. He believes no candidate endorsed by Nyesom Wike could secure even 10% of Fubara’s vote in a free and fair election. However, he cautioned that Fubara needs to be more assertive in stating his vision. While performance has been satisfactory, Sara-Igbe said Fubara must firmly declare his agenda to rally genuine backing.
