Dickson Laments Demise of PDP, Says Goodluck Jonathan Must Be ‘Sad’

Senator Seriake Dickson has expressed regret over the collapse of the Peoples Democratic Party. He told Channels Television that ex-President Goodluck Jonathan must be deeply saddened to see the party that launched his career evaporate. Dickson explained his decision to defect from the PDP to the newly registered Nigeria Democratic Congress. He described the NDC as “our symbol of victory” and urged Nigerians to embrace it as a credible opposition. He insisted that it is the PDP that has left its loyal members, not the other way around. According to him, internal divisions and leadership disputes have effectively killed the platform that once produced three presidents.
