Flee Sexual Immorality: Lessons from 1 Corinthians 6:12–20

Paul reminds us that although we can claim the right to do anything, not everything benefits us. Our bodies are meant for the Lord, not to be mastered by sinful desires. He warns against joining ourselves to sexual immorality, highlighting that our bodies are members of Christ. Uniting with a prostitute is described as sinning against one’s own body, since “the two will become one flesh.” Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and were bought at a price.
