Atiku Wins Big Over Amaechi in Gombe ADC Primary with 139,334 Votes

Atiku Abubakar emerged the clear winner of the ADC presidential primary in Gombe State, polling 139,334 votes. The Returning Officer, Prof. David Agbu, announced that Rotimi Amaechi secured 1,150 votes, while Mohammed Hayatu-Deen received 465 in a peaceful exercise held on May 25, 2026. Out of 160,982 registered party members, 140,949 cast ballots across the state. ADC had earlier endorsed Atiku as its sole candidate ahead of the national primary.
