Ogun CP Champions Stronger Community Policing Partnership with PCRC
The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, has reaffirmed the command’s dedication to strengthening community policing. He made the pledge at the monthly meeting of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC). Key stakeholders attended under the directive of the Inspector-General of Police on sustained engagement. They discussed intelligence sharing, public safety coordination and strategies to build public trust in policing. PCRC Chairman Comrade Lawal Abdullahi praised CP Ojajuni for personally joining the forum—an unprecedented move by a serving commissioner. The Commissioner thanked members for their collaboration and emphasised that proactive, people-oriented policing remains crucial in addressing emerging security challenges.
